All About Me
Giselle Gutierrez is from San Antonio, Texas and has grown up in the dance world since she was five years old. Her dance career began at a local studio named Studio 10 run by Pat Holbrook, the mother of Curtis Holbrook. She mainly fell in love with Broadway, however as the years went by, she discovered a TV show called America's Best Dance Crew and fell in love with urban dance. She joined her school’s dance team, The Antonian Silver Dancers, and her coach, Drea Pena-Kocian, with the help of the assistant coach, Diandra Buckley, played a huge role in Giselle’s passion for starting performing arts as a career.

Giselle has danced contemporary, ballet, jazz, broadway, hip-hop, and many other dance styles for 18 years. When she moved to Los Angeles to study at AMDA-LA, she noticed how all parts of the industry were intriguing and focused on being a versatile dancer. During the pandemic, she took a long break back in her hometown and was able to return in the fall of 2020. When returning she joined a mentorship program named MAD Program LA focusing on foundational hip-hop styles, run by EJ Hoffman, and saw exponential growth in her knowledge and experience.

She has worked with Purpose Media Productions, Hannah Gallagher, EJ Hoffman, Banana Who, and many other artists and companies. She also enjoys seeing the dance world behind the camera using filmmaking to inspire her craft and is given opportunities to learn more about technicalities backstage. Now, Giselle is focused on teaching performing arts to ages infant-teen helping improve their motor skills and love dance as much as she does. She is constantly looking for more ways to improve her expertise and expand her knowledge of the ins and outs of everything performing arts has to offer.
